Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dan Donahue is the President and Owner of Falcon Drilling and took ownership of the company in 2011. He has transformed the company into a premier drilling contractor in the Appalachian Basin.
Prior to his responsibilities at Falcon Drilling, he has held various operational, marketing and executive positions within the service industry. He is a graduate of Mercyhurst University and earned his MBA from Duquesne University.
Dan is very active in the Pittsburgh community and is involved in several community organizations. He is the coach of multiple baseball, soccer and hockey teams for the youth in the local community. Dan is the proud father of 6 boys and 1 girl, and is blessed with an amazing wife.
Ron began working in the oil and gas industry at the age of 21, and has worked virtually every position on the operations side of the business: roustabout, floor hand, derrick hand, driller, tool pusher, rig manager, drilling manager, general manager and more. In January 2013, he joined Falcon as Chief Operating Officer.
Born in Tallulah, Louisiana, a small town with a population under 8,000, Ron went on to work all over the world, including stints in Mexico, Venezuela, Chile, Trinidad and the US Gulf of Mexico.
Before coming to Falcon, Ron served as general manager of Saxon Drilling in Calgary, until he was promoted to vice president of North America. He’s also worked as managing director of operations for IDE and vice president of operations for Wisco Moran Drilling.
Greg took over as Falcon Drilling’s Chief Financial Officer in April of 2013, and is currently responsible for all financial aspects of the company.
His extensive background in business and drilling makes Greg an indispensable resource for the team at Falcon. He’s also a certified public accountant and he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Tyler.
Before coming to Falcon, Greg was the owner of Cordoba Equipment, and before that, he worked as controller for Petroleum Exploration Company, Ltd. He's also worked for Precision Energy Services and WebLink Wireless.
Greg’s goal at Falcon Drilling is to continue to grow the company.
